- How much do the cabins cost?
The $60-100 base price per square foot, depending on size and accessories.
- What is the shipping size of the cabins?
Maximum of 16 ft. wide and 40 ft. long. We can do double-wides and side rooms an additional 12 ft. in width.
- What types of logs are available?
We use 6”x 8” white or red pine logs.
- How long do the cabins take to build?
Construction averages 4-6 weeks.
- What are the delivery terms?
The customer pays the freight.
- What kind of foundations are available?
Smaller cabins can use treated lumber or concrete blocks. Larger cabins can include 12-18 in. sono tubes, trench footings, concrete slabs or basements.
- How often does a cabin need to be stained?
Stain may be required, on average, every six years. We use a stain that is water repellant and resistant to ultra violet light, mold, and mildew.
- How long does the chinking last?
The chinking on the cabin may need a touch up every few years. We suggest customers plan to spend thirty minutes per year, depending on the size of the cabin.
- How are the walls constructed?
We use Ole’ Log screws every 36” to hold the logs together.
